Indian Engineering Services Entrance Exam 2014

Indian Engineering Services which is usually called as IES. The IES 2014 exam will be held on 20^th June 2014 by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Candidates should check IES notifications on its official website www.upsc.gov.in. The application form of IES is available from 22^th March 2014 to 21^st April 2014 on its official website.

IES 2014 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have Indian citizenship, subject to Nepal and Bhutan are eligible for IES 2014.
• Candidates who had shifted to India from Tibet on or before January 1, 1962 are eligible for this examination.
• Migrated candidates in India from India neighbor countries like Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and East African countries like Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Vietnam, and Ethiopia etc. are eligible for Indian Engineering Services 2014 examination.
• Refugee candidates are required to submit the eligibility certification which must be issued by Indian Government.
• Candidate’s age who wants to apply for IES 2014 must be between 21 years to 30 years.

IES (Indian Engineering Services) 2014 Application Form

Interested and eligible candidates can fill the IES 2014 Application Form from UPSC official website, upsconline.nic.in on or after March 22, 2014. Candidates are suggested to complete the online registration process before the last date and the last date of IES 2014 Application Form is April 21, 2014.

After filling the application form properly on UPSC official website, candidates can pay the IES 2014 Application Fee via online mode or offline mode.

Note: Candidates are suggested to fill the IES (Indian Engineering Services) 2014 Application Form once because many time Application Form submission would not be entertained by the official authorities.

IES (Indian Engineering Services) 2014 Application Fee

The fee amount for the General/OBC candidates is Rs.200 and SC, ST, PH and female candidates are exempted from the fee payment. Candidates can make payment through online mode or offline mode.

Online Payment Mode – Candidates can pay the application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card and Internet Banking.

Offline Payment Mode – Candidates can pay the application fee through E-Challan which would be paid through any branch of SBI.

IES 2014 Selection Process

The process of selection is based on the performance of candidates in written examination and in personal interview as well.
