JK Police Constable Recruitment 2016

Jammu & Kashmir Police Department has invited permanent residents of J&K State for 4000 posts of Constable in J&K. Eligible and capable candidates can apply for this post in prescribed format before the last date of online registration. Online registrations start from today i.e. September 15, 2016. Educational Qualification:

Candidate must have passed matriculation examination or equivalent examination from any Government recognized University.

Age Limit (as on January 1, 2016):

  • Minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age should be 28 years.
  • Candidates born before January 1, 1988 and after January 1, 1998 will not eligible.

Note: Age relaxation is also applicable as per government of India norms.

Pay Scale:

Authority will pay Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900 to their selected candidates.

Application Fee:

Application Form will be available in the Offices of all The District SSPs in J&K/SSP CID Cell New Delhi from September 15, 2016 against payment of Rs. 300 in the form of Demand Draft (DD) Postal Order Obtain from any branch of J&K Bank & Post Office payable to Chief Account Officer PHQ, payable at Jammu/Srinagar.

How to Apply?

The Application Form will be deposited through the capable candidates in the Offices of Respective District Superintendents of Police (SP) where candidate’s residence address is registered. The migrate candidates presently settled out of in the Valley of Jammu region who intend to apply will deposit their Application Form indicating their residential details, in the district Police Offices where they are presently settled. Similarly candidates presently residing working outside of state can also deposit their Application Form in the office of SSP CID CELL
