About Indian Maritime University (IMU)
Indian Maritime University (IMU) was created for the better development in maritime studies, research and extension, training etc. on November 14, 2008. It was established as affiliating and teaching university under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. The IMU headquarters are in Chennai.

About Common Entrance Test (CET) 2014
Candidates, who want to take admission in UG and PG programmes through IMU, participate in Common Entrance Test (CET) which is been conducting every year usually in the month of June. This year, the online registration has been stared at the official website of IMU for Common Entrance Test 2014.
IMU CET 2014 is going to be conducted on June 14, 2014 between 2pm to 5pm. So, interested candidates can fill the IMU CET 2014 application form till May 20, 2014 because it is the last date for registration.

CET 2014 Application Fee
According to the official brochure, the IMU CET 2014 application fee is Rs.1000 for General category candidates and Rs.700 for SC/ST candidates. Candidates can pay the fee online through credit / debit card and internet banking and it can be paid offline as well.
