The official authority has released notification regarding extended date of GATE 2016 Admit Card. Candidates can download their GATE 2016 Admit Card from December 29, 2015 from its official website, www.gate.iisc.ernet.in.
The overall co-ordination and responsibility of conducting GATE 2016 lies on Indian Institute of Sciences which is selected as the Organizing Institute (OI) for GATE 2016. GATE 2016 Examination is conducted in Online mode only & starts from January 30 to February 07, 2016 on various dates in Forenoon session & afternoon session.
GATE 2016 Admit Card:
The online examination for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2016 will be held from January 30, 2016. Official authority will upload its Admit Card before few days of online examination. In Admit Card, authority will provide some important information related to candidate and examination. That is why without a valid Admit Card, authority will not allow any candidate to enter into the examination hall.
GATE 2016 Examination:
GATE 2016 examination for 23 papers will be held by an Online Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates are allowed to appear only one paper of 23 papers. Below, we are providing you the list of GATE 2016 papers and its code:

Examination Pattern:
- Candidates will face two types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Numerical Answer Questions.
- GATE 2016 examination will consists of a single paper of 3 hour duration that contains 65 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks.
