Now the UPSEE 2014 examination has been finished and we all are waiting for UPSEE 2014 result which is expected to be declared in the 3rd week of May, 2014.
About UPSEE 2014
Gautama Buddha Technical University conducts UPSEE exam for admission in various undergraduate engineering courses for session 2014-15.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Candidate must have obtained 45% marks for General in two compulsory subjects and one optional and 40% marks for Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe for the same.
- For B-tech: Mathematics and Physics are compulsory and Biology, Chemistry and Biotechnology are optional.
- For B-Tech (Biotechnology): Mathematics or Biology and Physics are compulsory and Chemistry and Biotech are optional.
- For B-Tech (Agricultural Discipline): Agriculture Discipline
SEATS RESERVATION
VERTICAL
- U.P Schedule Tribe – 21%
- U.P Schedule Caste – 2%
- U.P Other Backward Classes – 27%
HORIZONTAL
- U.P Freedom Fighters (UPFF) – 2%
- Superannuated/ Retired/ Killed/ Disabled in action – 5%
- or other defence personnel in U.P (UPAF)
- Physically handicapped (UPHC) – 3%
- U.P Females – 20%
APPLICATION FORMS
Candidates can purchase the application form from the post offices by paying Rs.1000 for General category and Rs.500 for Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe. Instructions must be properly followed while filling the form and the form must be sent to the below mentioned address in the end through speed post.
Around last week of February 2014, forms will be made available on the website of the examination. Candidates are required to fill the form properly and submit the same. After it a unique registration number will be allotted to each submission that must be preserved till the admission process is over.
After result is out counselling schedule will be made available on the official website of the exam www.upsee.nic.in and www.uptu.ac.in. All the seats will be occupied under the college process. So candidates are required to visit the website regularly and stay in touch with the same.
