West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) declares a number of vacancies every year. This year the authority has announced 3000 posts of Excise constable. Registration for the following began from 11th March 2019 and has ended up on 10th April 2019.

EXAMINATION PATTERN
- All the eligible candidates will have to appear in their MCQ based examination which is mostly qualifying.
- There will be 100 Objective types of questions having four alternate options carrying equal marks.
- The duration of completing this round is 1 hour.
- The competence of Bengali/Nepali will also be tested in this test.
- Questions for the Preliminary examination will be in three languages (Nepali/Bengali/English)
- There will be a process of negative marking, each wrong answer will take away your 1/4th mark.
