COMEDK UGET 2014 Entrance Exam

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and all the dental colleges of the state of Karnataka conducts an exam for the admission of students to various medical, dental and engineering colleges in the state known as COMEDK UGET Entrance Exam.
All the applying candidates must check the website and go through criteria thoroughly before applying. Any discrepancy found later on will cancel the candidature with immediate effect.
The COMEDK UGET 2014 is going to be conducted on May 11, 2014 (Sunday) across the Karnataka State.
EXAM PATTERN
- For B.E – 1 exam in morning slot having Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
- For MBBS/BDS
- 1 exam in morning slot having only Physics and Chemistry
- 1 exam in evening slot having only English and Biology
- For both MBBS/BDS and B.E
- 1 exam in morning slot having only Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- 1 exam in evening slot having only English and Biology
Also the below mentioned points:
- 3 Hours exam
- OMR sheet answer marking mode.
- Only one answer is considerable not multiple.
- No negative marking
If the score of two candidates comes out to be same, then the candidate who answered less wrong questions will be preferred.
APPLICATION FORM
All the candidates are required to log on to the official website www.comdek.org to apply for the same. There will also be a sample filled application form provided for the candidates to refer so that they will not make any mistake while filling the registration form. After submitting the form by entering required details correctly all the candidates are given an application number and are required to submit the fee. The registration will only be completed with the deposition of fee.

The fee details are:
- For BE/BTech – Rs. 1200
- For BE and MBBS – Rs. 1500
The fee must be in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “COMEDK” payable at Bangalore countersigned by banker.
After it candidates must take the print out of the application form, affix their latest coloured photograph and sign the form and send it to the COMEDK headquarters with the Demand Draft by courier or Speed Post. Any tampered form will not be accepted. No refund will be there if the details filled come out to be wrong. Following documents need to be in the courier:
- Correctly filled Application form with signatures
- 1 copy of Class X certificate or school leaving certificate
- Online ID proof printout copy (COMEDK copy)/Birth Certificate signed by a gazetted officer or head of institution last attended.
- Minority Certificate
Courier must be sent to the address given in the end below.
Candidates must check the status of their form by the application number regularly. If there is any incompleteness in the form they can correct it before due date.
ADMIT CARD
After the submission, all the candidates will receive Admit Card via post on the address mentioned in form. If anyone fails to receive the Admit Card they can visit the website or send an email. They will be issued a duplicate one then.
The admit card will be available from April 25, 2014 at www.comedk.org.
RESULT
It will be in 2 phases:
- Test Score – Candidates fill in their roll no on the website to see their result
- Merit List – It will be issued for the further round of counselling
IMPORTANT DATES
- Online Application Starts: March 12, 2014
- Last date of Application: April 12, 2014
- Admit Card Download Date: April 25, 2014
- COMEDK 2014 Exam Date and Time: May 11, 2014 (10 am to 1 pm)
- COMEDK 2014 Test Score Publication Date: May 30, 2014
