Waiting for NCERT Common Entrance Examination (CEE) then the wait is over because the authority has released the applications for the candidates looking forward to seeking admissions into various Teacher Education Programme. CEE will be conducted at various centers across India.
HOW TO APPLY?
The candidates wishing to apply for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) can apply via online. The application forms for the examination registration is available from 12th April 2018 to 12th May 2019. The examination will be conducted at various centers in all over India on 9th June 2019. To apply for the same you need to visit the official site of the authority and click on “how to apply” option from the dashboard to know how can you register yourself for this examination. WHO CAN APPLY?
The candidates wishing to be a part of this examination must know that who all are eligible for the admissions in the institute. The eligibility criteria along with the course are given below:
B.Sc. B.Ed (Integrated Programme to prepare secondary school teachers in Science and Mathematics):
One must have completed 10+2 in their Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary or Equivalent in Science (PCM/PCB) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of qualifying examination (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST candidates). The candidates who have passed the examination in 2017, 2018 and appearing/appeared in 2019 are only eligible.
B.A. B.Ed. (Integrated Programme to prepare secondary school teachers in English and Social Science):
One must have completed 10+2 in their Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary or Equivalent in Science or Commerce or Arts with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of qualifying examination (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST candidates). The candidates who have passed the examination in 2017, 2018 and appearing/appeared in 2019 are only eligible.
M.Sc.Ed. (Integrated Programme to prepare higher secondary school teachers in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics):
One must have completed 10+2 in their Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary or Equivalent in Science and Mathematics (PCM) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of qualifying examination (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST candidates). The candidates who have passed this examination in 2017, 2018 and appearing/appeared in 2019 are only eligible.
B.Ed. (Programme to prepare secondary school teachers in Science & Mathematics/English Language & Social Science):
Candidates with minimum of 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree and or in the Master’s Degree in Science or Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology with specialization in Science/Mathematics or in Bachelor’s Degree and in the Master’s Degree in Social Science/Humanities are eligible for admission to the programme (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST candidates).
M.Ed. (Programme to prepare teacher educators and other professionals in education):
Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed programme should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade (relaxation by 5% for SC/ST Candidates) in B.Ed. / B.A.Ed./ B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed./ B.El.Ed./ D.El.Ed. (with a bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science).
B.Ed. M.Ed. (Programme to prepare teacher educators and other professionals in education):
A postgraduate degree in science / social science/ humanity from a reputed institution with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade (relaxation by 5% for SC/ST candidates).
