The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an examination of Combiner Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) (10+2) for posts of Postal Assistants/ Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators and Lower Divisional Clerks on Sundays November 1, 2015, November 15, 2015 and November 22, 2015. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts on or before the last date of registration.

Posts Pay Scale:
- Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant- Pay Band of Rs. 5,200 to 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400.
- Data Entry Operator- Pay Band of Rs. 5,200 to 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400.
- Data Entry Operator- Pay Band of Rs. 5,200 to 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900.
- Lower Division Clerk- Pay Band of Rs. 5,200 to 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 18 to 27 years as on August 1, 2015.
Candidates not born before August 2, 1988 and not later than August 1, 1997.

Educational Qualification (as on August 1, 2015):
- Candidates must passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from any recognized Board or University.
- As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification No. 44 dated 01.03.1995 published in Gazette of India edition dated 08.04.1995, “the Degree obtained through open Universities/Distance Education Mode needs to be recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU”.
Application Fee:
- All women candidates and candidates belong to SC/ST/ Physically Handicapped and Ex-Serviceman are exempted from application fee as per Government orders.
- Other category candidates have to pay Rs. 100 by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS) only.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test/Typing Test on the basis of their performance in Written Examination.
